Now it's cackling in the nursery too.
There has been a lot of excitement at the "Rainbow" kindergarten in recent weeks: Ms. Günther brought hatching eggs that found a new home in the kindergarten's incubator. The children watched with excitement as the chicks hatched from the eggs and then greeted them lovingly.
But that's not all: a camera was installed so that the hatching could also be followed digitally. The little chicks finally moved into a small enclosure in the kindergarten and could be admired there every day. The highlight of the project was the "The chickens are loose!" party, which was held in the kindergarten.
The festival was all about chickens: the children and parents were offered a varied program with songs, creative and sporting activities. The Günther family's small chicken exhibition was particularly impressive, with an impressive rooster that delighted the children.
Together with all the children and parents, names were chosen for the chicks, which were then drawn by lot. Each chicken now has its own name, which can be read on the kindergarten display case. The final duck dance ensured an exuberant atmosphere for all those present.
Special thanks go to the families who planted the slope in the entrance area of the kindergarten and provided each child with a personal name stone. The parents' council also made a great contribution to the festival with a cake bazaar, a langoose stand and pavilions.
A visit from the mayor, Mr. Kögler, rounded off the festival. He brought food for the chicks and the local heritage association gave the kindergarten plants for the herb beds. The project "The chickens are loose" was a complete success for everyone involved and showed how exciting and educational nature experiences can be for children!
